Frozen Chocolate Pudding Pop

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 1 package unflavored Juven®
  • 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 tablespoons skim or 2% milk*
  • 1 tablespoon half-and-half cream
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped Spanish peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips or granola*
  • 1 tablespoon whole Spanish peanuts, optional

* Nutrient content based on skim milk and mini chocolate chips; also includes whole peanuts.

Directions

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the Juven, pudding mix, milk and half-and-half, and stir until the powder is dissolved. Add the chocolate sauce, chopped peanuts and chips and mix together. Place some of the whole peanuts in the bottom of a 5-oz paper cup. Spoon mixture into the cup and sprinkle remaining whole peanuts on top. Slide a wooden stick into center of mixture and place in the freezer. Freeze about 5 hours or until firm. Unmold, pop and serve.
