Penne with Tomato Basil Sauce
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients
- ½ cup favorite prepared marinara sauce
- 2 diced sundried tomatoes, packed in oil and drained
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped basil, plus whole leaves for garnish
- Fresh-ground black pepper
- 1 package unflavored Juven®
- 1 cup cooked penne pasta or favorite pasta, hot
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
In a microwave-safe bowl, mix together the marinara sauce, sundried tomatoes, chopped basil and pepper, and microwave for 1 to 1 ½ minutes or until hot. Remove from the microwave and mix in the Juven. Pour the sauce over the hot pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Garnish with basil if desired. Serve.
